Do someone know any site where Renegade Zone can be downloaded? I tried the link but there is certainly no way for download that I know.

Renegade is not a free game. It should be purchased at an electronics store in their jewel-case section because it is an old game.

Not that old. 2001-02

C&C Collection is the best deal (is $15-20 and includes the 5 most known and popular C&C games by Westwood themselves, NOT EA, including Renegade)

Go to www.westwood.com to see about the C&C series, which BTW, has just celebrated it's 10th annerversary this weekend, as mantis has shown thru his video.

The C&C games is the most popular and famous RTS series of all time, but Renegade was one game that was different. It was an FPS, but it took place in the first C&C game, Tiberian Dawn.

The C&C Collection includes Tiberian Sun (sequal to TD, which was the 1st C&C game) and the Firestorm expansion pack, Red Alert 2 (sequal to RA1 which was the 2nd C&C game made) and the expansion pack Yuri's Revenge, and finally the game Renegade.

To see what C&C is all about, you can donwload TD and RA1 for free. Go to ra.afraid.org and click for "FullRA" for Red Alert 1. You'll have to Google for TD though.

Its quite possibly one of the best game series ever ;)

Ok i figured it out. If your writing a long post and the forum system logges you out while you are still out, AND if you have disabled cookies (as in, you have to re-log in and re-write the post several times before it starts working again when you realize that your cookies were disabled), it comes up with a double post.

Its been resolved, but the authentication is a little hokey if it logges you out while writing mid post. Esentually, i wrote my post 4 or so times before i realized that my cookies were off. So, basically i physically wrote those on accident 4 time in a row.

lol

Yes it gets comlicated because the release order of the games does not coincide with the in-game timeline.

Red Alert came out after C&C but is set before it. Renegade came out last last but is set at the same time as C&C. I think Westwood realised that Tiberiun Sun (set after the original C&C) was a major mistake lol.

So er here is the release order...

C&C (sometimes refered to as Tiberian Dawn) - 1995
C&C Red Alert - 1996
C&C Tiberian Sun - 199?
C&C Red Alert 2 - 1998
C&C Renegade - 2002

And here is the in-game time line...

C&C Red Alert - 1940s to 1950s (but more modern than you would imagine cos there was no WWII and other wierd stuff)
C&C Red Alert 2 - 1940s to 1950s
C&C Tib Dawn - Future, lets say 2020 or so
C&C Reneagde - Same time as Tib Dawn
C&C Tib Sun - Future + about 5 to 10 years

OK, but at the other forums, me_mantis said about a video celebrating the C&C's 10'th. What's this?

Its a link on the one post called HELP!!! i belive. Mid way down the posts, he posted a link to a vid download

It was C&C's 10th Annerversary this past weekend, so he made a video celebrating it, by having WarcraftIII get destroyed, an army of Lego's that had different defenses/units from the different C&C games, vs. an Army of GLA from CNC Generals (who happens to be a superweapon [aka a Nuke user, ect] noob), although that game had nothing to do with C&C, its just that EA bought the title and made a wannabe game that had nothing to do with the storyline.

BTW, the Renegade site no longer works, thanks to EA forwarding all of the old homepages to the Generals website >:O!
