a modder told me
"make sure that each file is in data folder not in a folder in the data folder" now what does this mean. this is for transfering mods.

Hi When you download a mod it is normally in a folder of some sort i.e zip folder. Unzip the folder and only transfer the files required to the renegade/data folder an example of maps would be a .mix or .pkg a skin .dds file. Hope this helps. well you see, when I go to "D:\" at the adress bar it brings me to the part where I can extract it I have to unzip (extract) the file so it brings me to the the file without the zipper, than what do I do? I right click to see if I can extract it but I cant. How do I get the extracted file to C:/westwood/renegade/data when I cant extract it to it. this sounds confusing but Im havin trouble with it myself.
