As the title says.
I have many mod ideas but I don't know what mod should I start making so I want to hear your opinion.

1. Resident evil type
2. Medieval type
3. Hitman type
4. Diablo type (this would take some time)
5. Fallout type
6. WW2 type
7. *Your suggestion*

PS: I'm not promising anything yet I'm just planning stuff you know?

I'd say you could go with anything as long as it has some more cool units and graphics and as long as you don't make it a Afghanistan fighting mod-- I already did that-- I will send it out as soon as I redo it with the new Meteor 1.13 features

I reckon that WWII would be good starting mod (Diablo stuff for later on believe me you should wait a few months and review the platform!?).

Perhaps start with allies invade Europe, the player could be in landing craft boats or 101 Airbourne with Dakota aircraft.

James.

James I was just thinking the same about WW2 type Meteor.
Player is Sergeant Harrington and the first mission is Omaha beach ofcourse.
The only little problem is that I can't get any good music to the mod and I don't know how to make own music.
Should I just use the music that comes with Meteor
or should I search new music somewhere?

You can make your own music with MODPlug Tracker, or download some music from their site. http://www.modplug.com/index.php3 I have created some music for a certain Afganistan mod for Meteor, and the only problem is that it doesn't work perfectly in Meteor. I'm wondering if that's because of Meteor, or the samples I used. You know, James? What kind of music are you looking for? I might be interested in trying to compose some music from the WWII era.

Hmmm the background music could be just simply mortar explosions, machinegun bursts just like in DOD or somekind of
victory music or gloomy music. Is it hard to make music?
Does it take a lot of time?

Talking about a Mod, I have been making one for the past year but recently have been unable to complete it. It has about 25 levels so far, 5 characters, and 20 weapons. It is very large, about 1mb, and if anyone wants it they can tell me throught the fourm.

I don't find it hard, but I'm sort of musically oriented. The hardest part is making the computer sound how you think the music in your head... It does take a bit of time, if you don't repeat parts of your music much. Check out one of my Mods (the music kind) here.

A year? 20 weapons? For Meteor? Surely this must deserve some attention, happy to take a look.

Well, it's pretty easy once you get started, but to get you started, check out ModPlug's tutorials here.
