Somebody has:

- Assumed my identity
- Created a brothersoft account using my personal email address
- Added my games to brothersoft.com

Flattered as I may be it is concerning that somebody has pretended to be me and create an account in my name (which would also include agreeing to their terms and conditions).

Anybody gonna own up?

As I did not create the account I will have to contact brothersoft and ask them to close the account.

James

Brothersoft is a badsite.

http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/brothersoft.com

It automatically traces what people on the internet look up, then create a page that 'offers them what they want' and gives em a nice virus instead.

It doesn't make much sense. I mean, whoever it was could easily have asked you if they could put them there under their own name no problem...

That's exactly it. Brothersoft ITSELF made the "account".
Which is actually just the pure fakeness; Don't tell me it's hard to look up software on the internet, and then pretend that the author made an account on your site.
The intention, is hope that people look up that software, and download it from Brothersoft instead of the original server.
Result: Adware. And sadly, adware pays a lot.

You can try contacting them but chances are high they won't even respond. They're criminals.

@ParaSait

Criminals? Now that sounds serious. What exactly is this site?

@DarkRain

Oh don't worry. They spoof *lots* of people. Just like information.com (don't visit) buy domain names people accidently visit when they make a typo, or a domain name that doesn't exist anymore.
I'd contact them if possible, if they don't respond try contacting the police.

My website: http://halestrom.net/darksleep@Occasionally you may meet me when you sleep. In the darkest corners of your dreams, where your phone stops working and you don't know what to do. I'll be there; telling you that I don't support your device.

"Can't you just fix-"
NO! I told you when you bought this, when it goes wrong I can't fix it. It's filled with glue. The Greek goddess of glue Araldities herself would be impressed with this.

Please stop asking me for technical support during your dreams. Can't we just tour some surreal landscapes instead?

"How do I do that?"

Count your fingers. Keep trying. Make sure there's ten.

Then summon me. I am large and covered in wires. Clouds of baking soda pour into your world and a slightly weak yellowy glow appears from the LED strips behind me.

If you can see this message then you're already part of the way there. Keep all your styles disabled and you might see the dream within.

"But there's so much javascript everywhere! I can't see you. Help! I've forgotten to count my fingers! Where do I find them?"

The LED strip behind me pops and goes out. Dark spots appear in the centre of each light. I lift my finger to my lips. The smell of tantalum capacitors fills the air.

Ssh. Don't worry about that. Behind those frameworks there's another person sleeping.

Some day the javascript will sleep too.

Did you end up doing anything about it? Hopefully James kicked down some doors and started splitting heads.

The less attention they get, the better IMO.
