paint shop pro version 5 comes with animation shop.
(animation shop lets you edit the frames without importing!)

later versions of psp are ewxpensive and offer no good extra features. See if earlier versions have animation shop too.

Just make sure the one you get supports 16-bit color depths.
1-5-5-5 ?

UnFreez is small and clean, but you have to import frames

Thanks, papercut, I'm going to have them both so that it would be like that if I don't like the other, I still have the other.

I'm a little late but gif movie gear is really good and simple.

Try it <a href=http://www.download.com/GIF-Movie-Gear/3000-2186_4-10338755.html?tag=lst-0-1>here</a>.

Thanks, mike, but I'm already working on the animation. Nevertheless, I still downloaded it. I'll try to use it too sometimes.

btw:The animation is almost ready!

IRSH! James, could you change my icon so that it would loop? I just made the icon, and uploaded it. But hey, it doesn't loop! I fixed it but the problem is the icon picker chooses just the "unlooped" one. Hey, could someone help?

lol for the post block and lol for the icons. Its all funny really.

I use Paint Shop Pro, sometimes you can it for a half price deal in the shops but if you just want to do gifs then grab a freebie.

Also I am not sure if the Gimp does animated GIFS. I hear its a pretty hot image editor.

hmmm... Now it seems as if James still in the old .jpg forum picture era. =D
I did a fireball logo with lightwave 3D, but I liked this one a ton better.
Note that the green thing is a robot, and there is no blood 'n' gore. That green stuff is just parts.
I think that i will make a longer one, but that will have to be later today.

Your posts weren't out of topic. If you look at the title, it says "a gif animation". It was started by me, but I didn't mean the thead to be just about my icon.

btw: That icon is quite cool.

Aww man that burns! Everyone has cool animated avatars except me.
Oh just you wait. Mine's gonna be interactive. The embedded uplink will stream data to my icon, creating an experience to rival M2.

I have iPhotoPlus 4 what supports *.tga -files. I can send it to you but could you give me your e-mail? And would you have it zipped or in an install wizard?

well how about you just pretend that meteor is released at the exact time you get home? :) I promise not to talk about how cool it is before you get back to try it.

OK, now, you should have 7 patches, right? Then create into "C:/Program Files/" the iPhotoplus 4 folder. Place patches 1 and 3 WITH THEIR FOLDERS and patch number 5 into the iphotoplus 4 folder. Then create "Templates" and "Programs" and place patch 2 both halves into "Programs" and patch 4 both halves into "Templates". Then run the iPhotoplus 4 from "Programs". Tell me if there is something wrong.

James, I can't upload the new icon, it always refuses to make it further. I will place it here, can you place it there?
