I know this one web site that lets you DL this big freeware game, and under the news section, it said, "This website has had a total of 1 Petabite of total downloads from it!". This dumbfounded me when i first read this, b/ i have never heard of a PB. It turns out, a Petabite is equal to over 1,000,000 GIGs! It said that on a 300 Kb/s cable line, it would take over 116 years to download! WOH! And on 56k modem, somewhere about... 800+ YEARS!!! WOHER! Well, thats about it for my little spam post =).

PS--- the website has only been up for about 2.5 years

Lol I had to read your post a second time thinking that the freeware game took up 1 peta for the whole download! You'd need a home made of diskspace to get that!!!

Hehe 116 years! Gotta wait your birthday to go up 1%! lol

Just be sure to turn off ActiveX and get a pop up killer before going there. Else you could be paying 1.50 per minute on some premium dialer, LOL.

Its outrageous really.

1) You know, some stupid box pops up with more text than a sunday paper asking you to click Yes for 1.50 per min access (essentially a trojan).

2) You click "NO"

3) Some box appears saying "Click Yes to download free software".

4) It comes back again and just keeps on coming back, I mean how can these guys allow for such low (scam) advertising on their site?

Oh and run Ad-Aware or Spybot after browsing hehe.

Other than the agressive advertising, it looks like a well designed site.

petabite = too many gigs to even care about.

although, I went to www.filefront.com and it said...
589,949 Files totaling 16.35 Terabytes.
This means that its got 16.35 terabytes.
Not quite 1 petabyte.
and no, even because its that small, I wil not download it all.
