I'm working on an early mod for M1 (so yes, Scoping is abandoned :( ).

I was making an intro gif when I read the changelog (which might need a bit of updating) where it says gifs were no longer supported. Why is this and how do I transform my gif file to a FLC file??? I have got a good viewer though and a transformer but it didn't make them readable by meteor.

I will send the gif file if someone can transform it to an FLC.

James was telling me about this. It had to be changed for copyright reasons. =P

He said he had a program called Animation Shop i believe, and yousimply just open it, Save as .FLC, and you're done.

Do you happen to know the page to find it at?

I found a finnish page to get a demo of Animation Shop
http://www.jorkki.com/apaja/ohjelmat_grafiikka/1042320289_Animation-Shop.php

Click on the blue link that says "LATAA" and you should get it

Sorry forgot to mention that Animation Shop is part of Paint Shop Pro which is a commercial product.

We need to find a load of free utilities for all Meteor modding releated tasks and setup a page on meteormods.com with links etc.

Ditto. It could fit in the "modding resources" page.

I've been on the hunt for some free programs that change gifs to flcs. I've yet to find a really useful one. Animation shop is huge, and it's only a trial version. I can't seem to find any ordinary programs that can change gifs to flcs. (I've forund flcs to gifs prgrams, which is even more frustrating.)

I'm finding too many programs that can do everything with animations but change gifs to flcs. It's making me sick. Has anyone found a working solution?
