You seem to be out of memory. I'd say you have 256 mb or less.(I saw the same prob on a computer that tried to load a mod. It only had 256 mb.)

You may be able to fix this problem be increasing your paging file, but since I don't know all you computer statistics, all I can do now is inform you of the reason of your crash.

I played M2 with just 60 MB ram. Now I have doubled it to 120 MB ram.

60 MB!! Wasn't it too sloow? Because sometimes (esp. WareHouse) mine was sooo sloooow... Maybe because i run it in a window but i am unable to switch to fullscreen. This is my problem with M1 too :(

Yeah. Especially the reload took 10 minutes to do. I could even have lunch while it was doing it. Now it's better with 120 MB. :)

I also had that problem with starting for a while. I'm currently at 254MB and it's working fine.

Sounds like a video problem... whats your video card?

Try playing with the "non-fblend" version of M2.

If this works, then the light sourceing is your problem. Although, non-fblend doesnt support dynamic lighting however.

I'll first try that "non-fblend" version and maybe get the computers staticts, btw the video card is NVidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400.

AFTER: ok non-fblend didn't work. My comps info:

System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service pack 2

Computer:
Intel Pentium II processor
334 MHz, 128 Mb of RAM

I have two computers at home but this is the crappyer what im using

Hmm not sure...

Mabey its your processor?

It wont affect much usually as far as things not starting, but mabey M2 refuses to load on PII computers? This is somthing that james might know, not me :p

EDIT: Although, WinXP pretty much NEEDS atleast 256MB of RAM to run anything more than BASIC websurfing to work right... XP was designed to run on atleast 512MB (its what I can minimally reccomend for XP, as anything less on XP will run quite poorly, unless know what your doing and turn off several of XP's features), otherwise you can expect to see problems. That is the main reason why I still have Win98 on my 320MB PC, is because XP wouldnt run well at all on it (win98 is less "stable" than XP and doesnt offer much, but it wont have any problems running on low amounts of RAM).

That sounds right to me...
Especially because M2 is an older game which requires strict memory

As I have the XP I have desabled all the visual things what comes with XP so it would run quicklyer, but it's weird that Tribes 1 runs fine , Blitz 1942 (Here http://www.blitz1941.com/Blitz.1941) and GunBound WC (There http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/j/s/jsa161/xanga/gunbound%20small.jpg)

just copy and paste.

I think it is because of the source code is not optimalised or something like that..
This was a little problem in my early (and simple) programs.

"22/01/2006 - 00:00:21: MISC_NewBitmap: Unable to create bitmap (165 by 165"

This means that Meteor 2 doesn't have enough memory to make another image. When I run meteor 2, it takes tons of memory. There may be a memory leak, but I'm not sure. I have a 3gigabyte paging file, and it takes up to 500mb of that.

How big is your paging file?

Okay, don't tell us what you were doing.
Rightclick My Computer and hit properties. Copy all text in Properties and put it here.

If you have two computers, try running M2 on the other one. It might also help if you copied the startup console from each PC here.

A paging file is a extra bunch of memory thats on your hard drive. I have a 3gig paging file, and meteor 2 usually uses 1/2 gig.

you can adjust your paging file in your environmental vairiables options in the properties of "My Computer"
