Anyone!? Please! Anyone good with routers and stuff? I got one tha just wont work. Ive done everything poosible i can find next to pay someone, and ill have to wait 2 weeks to do that.
I got a Linksys WRT54G router, and a Westell 6100 Fast Acess Modem. Everytime i connect the router to the modem and everything like the Installer disc says, it knocks out my internet, ajnd i have to reinstall my modem again. I emailed Linksys and they gave stuff, only to cause more pain and STILL knock out the internet. Ive follow the instructions here http://text.dslreports.com/faq/9688 but still does the same thing. Also, when i connect with my DS (which is why i need the router) i get "Connected to access point, but unable to connect to the server" or "Cannot obtain IP. Please check DHCP settings." Ive done everything! Can anyone help? Anyone? At all?

ANYONE?! >.< this is pissing me off!

I'd think thats its time to call your isp. Usually they have very helpful people who will be glad to help you. If they can't help you, then I'd suggest smacking your modem, and throwing it out a window =D

I know you are not. I just told it to tell that I don't know about it much...

I'll leave it to someone else. I don't know anything about routers. (I don't have one)
