My upcomming mod is based off of a game right? And this game's sounds are the most realistic sounds ive ever heard, weapons wise. Unfortunatly, i was just given a response from the developers of this game that i cannot use their sounds in anything game/program related :p

So, does anyone know where i can get some good sounds from, preferably as real as possible?

There are loads of sound out there.

The trick is to search for "free royalty free sound effects". I am sure that you can find something.

Man, that stinks!

Good weapon sounds are found at soldatmods.tk. Download a full mod and just take the firing sounds from the zip file.

Jeez...I probably have to contact Bungie and make sure its ok to use their sounds...

Soldat? I prefer to use sounds not from another freeware game, and Soldat isnt exactly the sounds im looking for... you knwo... the BANG!/CRACK! of a gun in an open enviornment, such as a CHOPCHOPCHOP of an AK-74

Well, the sounds really aren't that common, because people don't really download the mods, and the sounds are designed to be in an open enviroment.

But...suit yourself

Try going to this site:
http://www.flashkit.com/soundfx/
Though it it's for a game maker type program all the wav files are free and they sure have a lot of them.
