For those who are putting music in their mods, I recomend using Deliplayer 2. It's a freeware 'WinAmp' type of program that plays the widest variety of music files ive ever seen. Sure enough, .IT .XM .S3M and .MODs. I use it just to listen to the music before i put it in meteor. I used to just grab a handful of songs that have cool titles, and then play them in meteor and pray that they are good. I can now listen to music and pick out the best ones much faster. It's a really nice program to have, it helps a lot http://www.deliplayer.com/

Hmm...Win Media player, VLC Media player, Foobar2000, ah...this is my fourth media player. Good! Something that plays .it. Nice find. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

winamp does .it but im not sure about the other formats. I use ModPlug player for its really small size, and freeware status. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I use Tracker, you can play files too and see how they were done at the same time! You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I believe DeliPlayer 2 is a pretty small size and freeware as well, unless 3MB is too big for you.

I just got a better way to play mod files. I got a pair of Boston Accoustic T830s (Massive home theater speakers) with rotten foam rings on the subs. I just replaced them today, and its amazingly awesome. Its basically live. I use Mod plug tracker, b/c you can read al the funny comments that ppl put on their songs. The funiest thing is that when I was looking for music for my afghanistan mod, I was looking for names like "Battle" and "Warfare". I did find a cool song called Bagdad though. =D You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Yes music is really important. Take menu music, I spend hours playing loads of tunes while watching the menu (well on and off) just to get it right lol. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

lol I didn't go hunting for music for reasons we shall soon see. I've made you a menu thingy, but I haven't had time to zap it over to you yet. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I have been waiting for this... James, can there be modded menus (ability to change menu colors)? You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Oh, 3D menuback. Someone's been working hard. By the way, I like the second song best. If you use the third song for really I'll do something like delete Meteor from my computer. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Now don't betray us that far VR_Rat! If you don't like it, mod it! I found a pretty neat metallish thrash song that would be a pretty gripping menu music. But it would work best if Meteor were more of a Hardcore, things blowing up all the time, bullets flying only-action game. Will we be able to customize the 3d background, along with the camera view?
