Since no one looks at the M1 forums, ill judt post it here:

The lasers are worthless! If they hit you straight on, you wont take damage! Its only in some few cases, that it hits the wall next to you, and you take around 5 damage... Is it a bug, or is it supposed to suck that much?

That is a problem. I am sure that will be fixed but James should answer that one.

Theres no problem at all, all you have to do is increase the blast radius of that red laser since its smaller than the size of the projectile, or you could make a smaller pcx for the laser.

Well actually there are some technical issues with collision detection on long/thin projectiles. I tried my best to clean this up but it can still be a bit odd at times.

I have an idea. Maybe you could make the long thin laser fater
if you use some transparent color around it.

I fixed that problem by getting rid of the blast raduis for the laser. I found that small projectiles with small blast radius's don't hurt the player.

Actually i remember when i first played meteor and noticed those lasers weren't hurting me, I assumed that the laser made you vulnerable to the next attack, by that I mean if it hits you, youll get hurt more the next time you get shot. It took me about several weeks to figure out thats not true!
