As it turns out, Meteor 2 is designed for small maps with a limited number of people. Thus, I've decided to make a few small fun multiplayer maps.

What mp maps do y'all like best and why?

I like forest type maps because you can hide in the woods and you can find some 'secrets' such as 50 cal minigun =)

hmmmm...I like bunker and defense maps, because you can secure certain positions with resources, say the pulse cannon, preventing other players from getting it.

Hmmm... I haven't played MP for a little while. But personally I like indoor maps a lot, since they can have a lot of detail plus all those nice mechanisms =)

A vehicle map, the one in m2 with all the jeeps and tanks and mechs was very fun!

The MP maps for m2 are pretty small though. Does it lagg if the maps are bigger?

What's so funny about it? :D Yeah, the number of sprites/objects in M1 played apart in the lagging. So i think it's the same reason in M2 too..

larger maps like the island battle don't make the game lag.
Once you've got more than a certain number of objects however, the game won't really let people join. I've never seen any object or sector related lag though.
(unless you hide sectors)
