James, would there be a chance to have a script editor which let's you create script files without exiting (even better would be if it would be in the Map Editor)?

That would make everything a bit easier... No wait... It will make it POSSIBLE! I couldn't make it work in the very first stages of the beta, and I certainly can't now!

The script editor would be neat, all you have to do is point and click on the voids, and actions.

Perhaps but don't get too hopeful. If a script editor does go ahead the 1st generation of which would just be a text editor (like a built in Notepad).

That'll work too... I'm always giving up, when I have to start and close the game every 10 seconds, just to edit three symbols.

i agree it should be a text editor, but it should have all the possible commands, discluding coords, items, objects, etc. and you can just copy and paste.

At least be able to copy and paste in game would be helpful. Since i use alot of scripts for the rpg i could jsut copy and paste the commands like the shope ones and just change the end value.

My friend and I were actually thinking about this, and it wouldn't be too hard to make...hes good with java and visualbasic...you might see some neat app for creating scripts in the near future, but don't get ur hopes up.
