How about making it so you could loose the level another way than just dieing? Like, you might have a certin amount of time to compleate a mission or you would loose. Unless, this idea is already included with the trigger system.

Yeah there should be a lvl, where you have to call reinforcements, before all your buddies dies.

Or the enemey could have hostages and if you don't release them in a sample of 10 minuttes you will lose.

There should be other ways to win too, i.e. Stay alive for [blank] minutes/seconds, Kill at least [blank] amount of objects, Kill [blank] amount of [blank] object(s). Things like that

-Map 1
Assault on the Outpost, Kill as much Elite Guards so well as possible so we wont have to worry about them in the future, and Asassinate the 4 Scientists that have our inside info

(Kill at least 20 Elite Guards, Kill at least 4 Scientsists till completion)

-Map 2
Enemies are rushing in on Base Omega, Protect the Base from all hordes, they shall begin to clear up in some time.

(8 minutes till completion.)

and in mission 2...


If you win: Youll get a early chance of destroying the main force of the enemy (can fail, but then you just play the normal lvls).

If you lose: Guard the convoy of remaining allies.

(If more than 20 allies get killed, you lose, theres 30 allies in the convoy).

The allies can attack, but will get back in formation, when the threat is removed.

Hmm... the "If you lose" sentence kinda got to me,

How about having it so you could set in the map editor, if you fail the mission you still go to the next one?

Thats should be easy to make... Like Flash MX, where you just go to the scene, thats attached to the action you perform. (You dont go to the scene by yourself of course, the program makes you go....)

Yep, that would be nice.

You have a guy you have to protect for a certain reason, say a hacker that can crack codes for doors. That guy dies, youll have to find away around the door in the next mission without breaking in, thus making it harder if you screw the mission
