2 weeks of coding is required to get it up to beta standard, I don't have 2 weeks right now but I try to squeeze bits in here and there, I can't say when.

"June or July 2004" don't you mean 2005? :-) Mabey if you made M2 more fun that renegade, you would work on it more.

Well perhaps.

The database code is all in place but the storage (memory) stuff needs looking at, the actual game does work but all needs to be tied together if you see what I mean.

I have not spent any time on M2 lately as I have been far to busy, basically its all about time.

One thing (if there is time to answer): Weapons with limited mag capacity: Will there be a key for reloading? Auto or manual after last shot? Or optional? Still possible to make weapons without reload (beltfed GPMGs...Mmmm)?

How about sprites/Objects editing? Still PCX? Any recomended program?

To elaborate.

Yes you have total control other whether or not weapons require reloading (so yes it is optional), you can set the clip size, reload delay and reload sound for each weapon.

Weapons with no ammo (like say an army knife) are supported too.

Yeah I recorded it last night, its a test map where one guy sits there for hours shooting heavily armoured metal boxes with a machine gun. :)

The music is by Minomus (you can download it right here http://www.mikseri.net/artistit/?id=20217). I have asked his/her permission to use the music by email but have yet had no response. If he/she does not write back then I will use something else.

Don't over-exaggerate, (big word, hope I spelled it right) But not EVERYONE wants it, I know many of my friends who have certain reasons why they cant have it (by that I mean really annoying and poor reasons) Some like:

-"Not allowed to download things." (1 person who has about 30 downloaded things on his computer)

-"Don't like the look down view." (4 picky people)

-"Not Realistic enough, No 3D." (another picky person)

-Now listen to this!

Person:I don't like it that much
Me: Why? What's wrong with the game?
Person: I just don't like it.
Me:I'll ask again--
Person: Theres nothing wrong, I just don't like it.
<Person walks away>

(6 people) If theres nothing wrong, How can you not like it? Could someone explain that to me or am I just figuring out that I'm not in reality?

Yes everyone wants it but lay off James. Help him. I give him e-mails asking for things I can help with. (example I am going to start helping by doing some voices)

Ya if you think those ppl are picky on how the game looks just wait till you see this! Go to "http://aa.filefront.com" and go to the POTd (picture of the day) section, and read some of the ppl's comments! The game is a VERRRYYYY complex graphic wise 3-d game, and some of the ppls comments on some ppls POTd are like "OMG YOUR GRAPHICS SUCK!" (and the setting for the game on that certin pic would be on normal, whitch would be equal to full graphics setting on a game like ghost recon lol)!

Man those people are terrible! I hope they noticed were talking FREEWARE here! Freeware games aren't supposed to match the intense work and effort that was used to make games that cost a hell-of-a-lot!
