When I added Helicpoter to my scyscraper level, the only two unhidden ones roamed the map freely without me even going to wake them up (or getting close enough with the character to wake them up). Now I checked the angle options which would normally wake up a unit before the player came close but those where set to 0. So why did it wake up? You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Be sure to make sure the Helos aren't set to "Follow Player" mode (might of been removed in the version), aircraft are set to this by default, atleast it was in the earlier versions. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I don't know about why they're waking up too early, but one solution might be to set the choppers hidden in the script file, then unhide them using a sector trigger. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

This is most probably being caused by a bug which has since been fixed. Here is the official changelog line... Fixed a bug where objects were being activated too early (before becoming visible). This was happening when map switching because the old map window coords were being used to draw the first frame. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
