I seriously doubt anyone downloading the game would not know how to use a zip file, and it's much easier to repair broken downloads with zips than with exes. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Well, i prefer to use .exe because it is much easier, and besides, if a working download (for everyone else) is broken, then just re-download to solve. If it doesnt, and if alot of people are having this problem, then there should be 2 versions (one ZIP and one EXE).... or just do a seperate ZIP version anyways You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I have no idea how you can find an exe easier, and re-downloading 50MB is not a good thing to have to do. I hope patches (in zips, ideally) for Meteor 2 will be released rather than having to download the whole thing again. Anyway, seperate download for zip seems fair enough. Patch's for M1 have been in ZIP format, and im sure the patches for M2 will to. But the full version, im sure will be EXE, cause all you do is just is press next button a few times and BOOM! Your done You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Had to sign up again, not sure why this forum's rules require a real name, but you're not getting one Anyway, ZIPs tend to be even easier - open the file, and unzip, which generally only takes a couple of clicks, depending on your zip program. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I'm glad the default directory is c:\games\meteor2 instead of c:\Program Files\JBsoftware\Meteor2v101b ICK! You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
