Every time you use a item for example a bluekeycard to a door you would lose that item and the bluekeycard cannot be reused except if you find a new one you could use that to another door that requires a blue keycard. Or you could choose does the item loose from your inventory when you have used it. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I can see a problem with that. What if there are two different entrances that use the same swipe card? But my biggest concern would be the possibility that you would open one tile of the door, and would lose the swipe card, and might be unable to get through. Maybe if it was made with the ability to open 2 tiles, then it would work. That might be a good idea if it would be possible to have the whole door (4 or 5 tiles) open at once. That might be good for the force-field deactivation switches, though. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I suspect that you have something particular in mind. If there was a good case for losing items on use then it would not take much to add it. Clearly, as John suggests, this would be a pain for doors and I don’t think its worth coding in something clever (like waiting 3 seconds before losing the item). If implemented this would be set in the special tile editor with the default being not to lose the item. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

If you found a clip it would be much more cooler if you could choose when you whould use it. And if you did you use a clip it would come up a reload sound. With a health pack it would come up another sound. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
