O.o There is none? M2 is only 2d, all 3D that you might see will involve a cinimatic ![]() You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

James will explain later, but what he told me is that M2 is 3D, but simply put, you can't see it, and M2 isn't designed be view in 3D (yet). I'm sure its very complicated. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Oh wait nvm, I just got a look at that clip. Earlier this year, James made some talk of M2 in an OpenGL format, which its expected release date was supposed to be in sometime 2006. Unfortunately I don't see it on jbgames.com anymore. Maybe he's trying to get it off everyones mind so he can blow us away? I hear it is supposed to be run on .WAD files, so it should supposedly be possible to open using Doom, Heretic, or Hexen lol.

I know how he did that Armaghetto, He used a doom .wad editor such as Deepsea or Doombuilder and simply built a .wad that looked identical to your map. If you make a map I could (but I won't) do that too.

Oooh I love stirring things up. He sent me a map with a passable door so I sent him a 3D representation back showing the door at ground level (thus being passable in this case). I drew it myself using Paint, I have a good eye for perpective, honest lol. glRpgMap.jpg You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

lol Paint? yeah right! It probably took him no more than a half hour. There might be no troops in the map at that time, or they have been hidden via script commands

Heavy tank, an air scout and a uber. Which type? And is there a way to show projectiles? And why these aren't @ meteormods.com, moderator? (the icon) Edited: 18 November 2005 11:27 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

wow you always seem to see things as a different perspective than me, I always thought the air scout and tank were flatter, and the Uber cannon turret to be taller.

Well, I believe its the other way around. You seem to see the airscout as being flatter, but actually, this picture is made with the units that are in meteor 2. This is the way they actually look. =D You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
