In the sprite builder, being able to set the translucency of a sprite between transparent and opaque. This would be good for burn marks like me_mantis wanted, and blood stains, and fire. Just another one of those hundreds of thousands of things to add the the Meteor Wish List. lol

If you'd really like some transperant looking sprites, make your sprite, and make every other square 255,0,255 in a checker board pattern. It looks almost transperant. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Hard work ![]() Also, if the sprite is small (like blood or fire) it would look low quality :\ You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

For larger "me_mantis" size sprites translucency is out of the question due to CPU load! However if used in moderation transparent sprite drawing could work well. Don't go making checker boards just yet (except you me_mantis). You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

What can I say? I think big stuff is cool. I have a nice clone tool that i use to paint checkerboards over my images. Im making a 64X128 sprite right now, and i did some thing that may supprise all of you: I made a sprite <10X12 pixels. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
