On a minority of PCs (generally non Windows XP based) Meteor 2 bombs out when starting a new game. This occurs immediately after the initial briefing. This problem is caused by a problem in the lighting code (this is a known issue in the Fblend library which is used by Meteor 2). <b>To fix this problem</b> Run meteor2_non-fblend.exe instead of meteor2.exe to disable light sourcing.
