13 October 2003 13:40 (UK time) 1. In player character editor you can choose the maximum health for the player ie: I set this to 50 the player should have max health 50 in a map I load. The player still have 100 health? 2.Rain? (advanced map tools) 3.In dark maps every time I die the screen gets even darker to the point I can't see anything but a black screen. Is this in my computer or a Meteor bug? You need to login to create posts in this thread.

13 October 2003 17:42 (UK time) I have no idea about 1, but 2. This doesn't work in my version either. 3. Yes, the screen gets darker every time. This can be fixed by making the maps have an exit right by the start, so if you die once, you can exit there and go to an interim level that has an exit right by the start that leads to the first, dark level. You will have all your ammo and also the level will return to it's original level of darkness. You need to login to create posts in this thread.

Sorry to confuse, the player health is actually set in "base\items.def", the value in the PCE is not implemented (note that the PCE value is actually supposed to overide the items.def but it simply does not!). 2. It just wont rain, dammit. Yes the rain does not work, I must sort this out. Thanks for bringing it up. 3. I had no idea about this, nice to see that this forum is doing its job. 19 October 2003 19:18 (UK time) Meteor lags very badly on win xp but in my other computer wich has win 98 SE it works perfectly. Is there any way I can fix this? You need to login to create posts in this thread.

20 October 2003 22:59 (UK time) Some people have reported XP problems in the past and I have never been able to nail it. If its really slow you could do a "usegametimer 0" in the console. But be warned that this may make things a little funny. You need to login to create posts in this thread.
