When I resized the screen to 800 by 600 while in the game, the window was resized but the graphic in the background wasn't. THen when I ran my mouse over the black space left by the empty part of the screen, the screen didn't refresh and my mouse left entrails. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Yes this error was reported a while back but was considered a low priority. One day I may actually fix it. Is this simply a visual problem? You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

By the way... Low priority means that is is on the bug list and will get fixed, just later on, lol. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Oh shoot, I reported this as a problem (within another post I made in another thread which happens to be in another sub-forum of the Meteor 2 forums), and yet here it is, already reported properly as an error. Basically, I wanted to point out that this problem exists, and now that others have experienced it as well I can at least confirm it. B.T.W. the problem IS visual; though I guess that depends what you mean by visual. This is happening because when, say, you're in 1024x768 mode in Windows and you lanuch the game with the 800x600 area of the game menu displayed active in the game, the other parts of the screen that aren't being used by the display are inactive, yet used up by the game. The 800x600 isn't a hard-mode 800x600 (it's soft) which means that it's only 800x600 overlapping the Windows 1024x768 you were in, instead of actually stretching the 800x600 display area to the entire screen (which is, in a way, what happens when you go into full-screen 800x600 mode in Windows itself). The other parts of the screen that aren't in use in this case, allow you to move your mouse over them because you're not truly in 800x600, and that region of the screen isn't controlled by the game which means it won't be refreshed. Hence the mouse trails left over.... Edited: 25 December 2004 02:28 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

On second thought what I mentioned in the post above might not be the problem. Because it seems that there is other activity in the non-active area.... I don't know, I'm not sure about this one. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
