This REALLY bugged me- i was trying out scripting with the text editor and making a map (a fairly well sized map), i had already done some sector work, and in depth study on the scripting and placing waypoints (all this took about an hour). i was seeing that my bind script was not working in the text editor, so i figured "well i probibly have to quit and go back in to take affect". SOOO i do this and, when i go back in M2, my map is not there on the save list! this is very strange because i have done plenty of running of the map and saving, and apparently it didnt write the save file in the folder! SO that map was KA-PUT. =( Just wanted to inform you about this problem of mine... Edited: 20 October 2004 03:40 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

This is indeed very strange. Meteor should never ever delete any maps, it should only overwrite. You should check for: - If the map was saved elsewhere (do a file seach) - If the map was not saved with a .map extension (do a file search with no extension) - Check the map was not saved as another name (order the maps folder by date modified).
