I think the AI in the beta is WAAYYY to stupid =\. Ive see goodies walk right past baddies and they didnt even notice. Or the problem might be a small FOV (field of view). I suggest eather making the FOV WAAAYYY larger or making the AI notice ppl better. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Yeah in v1.2 the objects targetting is totally screwed up. This is fixed in v1.3. There is now FOV as such (yeah ok so they have eyes in the back of their heads (ears basically)). The objects have a FOV of 180 degrees as in __ and not \/ which only applies when firing. I may reduce this a little which means you could catch them out (when entering doors) when their backs are turned. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
