I think three years. I think that you gonna be able to make mods in M2. If not the mod manager works you can just copy the old meteor game and remove the menuback and intro and you have a mod to work on. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Well, since my brother isn't answering, I'll say. You've probably seen the suicide bomber only "cave" map, and it has text triggers all over the place dating it. It's from around November 2001, so he's been working on it off and on for all this time. Don't worry too much, there's a much better cave tileset now and that map's just included because we rediscovered it just a few weeks ago. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

One of the main reaons that Meteor was a success was its ability to be modded. Of course this tradition will be carried on in the sequel, in fact it will be far more flexible. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Yep, all the editors is what kept me busy when i was playing meteor. I also liked the Mouse aim and the "Semi-future" setting.

It is me at last. Meteor: Afghanistan was started shortly after 9/11/01, as another fun way to play meteor(and get revenge on the taliban). I did not work on it all the time for 3 years, but I did put a lot of work into it. I am sure you will all enjoy the single player campaigns as well as the horde of multiplayer maps. It's finally done*. *all but 1 song that I will wait for, until 9/10/04. If I still don't have the song, I will upload my mod on 9/11/04. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
