Now that I've pretty much finished my map generator engine, it's time to start a random map generator application with it. A problem I'm seeing with this, though, is that in order for everything to be placed neatly so they don't get stuck in a wall or something, I'd need to know the width and height of every sprite, race, item and powerup graphic in the game. I know I can do this by exporting every single single graphic to a pcx and then making the list based on those, but eh, that just seems a little tedious. So can anyone make a list of these widths and heights somehow, or tell me how to do the job a little more efficiently?
