Yes, another bug report! After all this time, I still keep finding bugs in Meteor 2. Interesting game... Anyway here's a screenshot: ![]() See nothing odd on first sight? Well, then look again very carefully. Look at the icon of that crater object... it's an "I", which is supposed to be a "thing" and thus displayed as a yellow blip. But if you look at the minimap, you see a red blip. Evil crater? ![]() The rest of the red blips you see on the shore area are craters of that type 2. Crater 2's however are yellow like it's supposed to be.

I noticed that pretty early when I played Meteor 2 but just didn't care about it. ![]() You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

An interesting bug all the same. Did I mention that I am also working on a new version/rewrite of M2? No wait I didn't. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Great news... hope it'll have an improved netcode too, so we can finally deathmatch with each other without too much pain in the butt. ![]()

Sounds awesome, I hope it has a possibility to use a tile-style map editor like in M1. ![]()

I doubt that. The m2 map format isn't tile based. You could, however, make a tile-based map editor that creates sector shapes based on the homogenous chunks of tiles, but I think that'd be rather complex to do and it'll need a lot of big changes.
