For the fun of it, Lets get some M1 mapping on!

Goal: Submit the hardest, most difficult map you can possibly make, while following the rules below. You can begin mapping as soon as you finish reading this post!

-Don't start mapping until you finish reading this post!

-Anyone who has Meteor V 1.32 and is familiar with using a map editor is welcome to submit a map.

-Maps can be of any size.

-You can submit as many maps as you'd like.

-Don't forget to include a map title as well as fill in the Author slot. Email is optional.

-You can only use things from Meteor, no new anything. Just maps. Besides a tileset I'm working on specific to this compilation that you can use.

-There needs to be at least 100HP worth of health items in your map. (Such as 4 Health kits, or 9 Health Packs, 50 waterbottles, etc. your maps need to have sufficient health items)

-Health Items cannot be stored in areas that are inaccessible to the player (In water, in solid walls, behind locked doors with no key)

-Don't make it so you start getting mauled by a bunch of minigun troopers. The rule is that after starting the map, without moving, the player should be able to withstand 10 seconds without taking damage. How many enemies beyond the starting position is completely to your discretion.

-Your map should have an exit switch and it should not be impossible to reach. (Doors that require keys should have their keys accessible somewhere in the map, there should be enough ammo to kill all the enemies)

The new tileset includes a ton of recolored main.til tiles, as well as several new ones. It is encouraged that you experiment with different color combinations and stick to a consistent color theme. You are also welcome to use conveyors, explosive tiles, and C4 to the players dismay. Be creative!

I still have many open tile space, if anyone would like to submit tiles to be used in the tileset, please upload the 16x16 images, not the whole tilesets! Preferably tiles that stay true to the original Meteor look. Recolors of existing tiles are welcomed! New tileset will be ready soon.

Here's a screenshot of a map I'm working on using the new tileset. There's no due date yet. It is encouraged that you continually update us with your progress by posting screenshots.

not sure I have time to do this, but if I did, I'd make a map with lots of enemies, and just enough ammo to take them all out.

Here's the first map! Wow, I'm even the first to submit one :)
It's very hard, but it *is* possible (I tested it A LOT). I tried my utmost to find the balance between "hard" and "possible" :p
Enjoy and don't get frustrated! (^^,)

EDIT: Ehh... There seems to be a bug with the time limit if you warp to the map using the map command. o.O
Also, 40oz, if this map isn't going to be the first map in the list, can you please make it so it takes away all weapons and ammo at the start? Otherwise it's probably not so hard anymore heh :p

Who can beat it? I managed to do it once (without quick saving a million times) so it *is* possible, without doubt.
Still, I'm the only one who knows the perfect strategy so far lol :D

I started making a map when 40oz made this announcement but at some point I ran out of ideas and I didn't finish it. But soon I decided that I need to finish it. So that's exactly what I have done. I have attached the map here. You'll need Papercut's tileset from his first post in order to play it. ;)

Wow, those new tiles should be added in Meteor Gold. :D

I would make a map for this, but I cant make torture maps. Those two are pure hardcore though.
