Execpt you can't be close to it, or you're toast. But it punches through 1-2" thick armor and it's $100/unit. Pretty insane http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXp5czdufoQ&feature=related You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

you'd probably be able to do a scripted thing where it drops Krakatoa (an allied object) and a neutral object that it won't shoot past till you destroy, and an explosive object to one side. So then you destroy the neutral object, and whenever the Krakatoa sees something to shoot, it will fire it's main weapon, and a secondary weapon that fires a short burst in all directions will detonate the explosive object to its side. It's be epic. Then the main shell would do 5000 percing damage or something like that. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Et voila! Here's the Krakatoa for Meteor 2. @ParaScythe I had to settle for an explosion radius of 150, rather than ten thousand, just so the thing could be on the screen when you detonate it... Let me know if there's anything that doesn't work, I'll see what I can do about it. Edited: 03 February 2009 03:11 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

@PetiX it won't explode unless there's an enemy in range, otherwise it just sits there. And thanks for the compliments! Edited: 04 February 2009 03:26 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Ahh, but is it multiplayer compatible? Looks fun.. I like the buttons! Does it shoot stuff, or just explode? Cuz if it shot stuff, that'd be sweet. Also, does it only point one way? because you could make it point the way the player points. Finally, I should release my tracking missle stuff, because it's rad. @me_mantis[keens] Thanks, it does shoot stuff, the projectile can take out a doom tank in one shot. About the angle, I made a second toolbar appear where you pick the direction it faces (though it's limited to N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, and NW), but now that you mention it, it would be possible to have it point the way the player is facing. EDIT: And I've no idea if it works in multiplayer. And tracking missiles sound awesome. Edited: 05 February 2009 20:09 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
