It would be nice if levels in M2 could have floors like in a building. The player would go up a staircase and go to a different floor over the existing floor. This would be great in my knew mod I am making. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Yes, that had been great. It had also been cool if you could fall down one floor. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

That would probably be a little hard to make, but who am I to say so? You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

But you can make some floors if you have the: none (black) tile. Then you could make a room in a black area and build a teleporter as a elevator. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I did download the afganistan mod, but it is not cool. The mod: Army 101 was cooler. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

A word to the wise, my army101 mod on this site was the wrong version, the newer version contains the last levels and weapons, and that should be coming out soon on this site. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Your mod is not so cool because you don't are so good to make maps. PS: I didn't like your maps. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Gas Indeed, both mods contain evidence of substantial effort and are provided free for other people's entertainment. Slight correction there Dave, the new version currently on-line is the same as the original with a fix on the factory level (it was not possible to finish it due to a v1.2 glitch). There will be an even newer version that contains all of the extra levels, its up to me to get it fixed up and on-line, I am a little stretched for time right now. While I find it hard for someone to <I>not</I> like some maps from Meteor: Afghanistan, the good part is that you'll have an additional 40 maps to sate your desire for combat. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

I decided to cancel Erlend's account (and forums access) in accordance with the terms of use due to his obsession with "gas" being dotted all over the forums. These forums are used by good people with great ideas and are no place for unecessary tension. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

<ontopic> Well the current plan for floors is very basic. The problem is that Meteor 2 is still a 2D game with no true concept of height. However by setting a sector as "high" all ground objects will be rendered underneath. This basically means that you can go under things but not on top. Essentially this means that you can have roofs (well cross beams, phone cables and stuff would work well). James. </ontopic> You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
