This is REALLY weird..started up M2 and this is what it looked like. Edit: Just re-started the game and it's fine...It seems to be a one-time thing. Could I use those screenshots in the 'best screenshot' competition? Edited: 30 April 2008 21:58 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

wow, what a weird bug and strange thing happens when you press the 'm' key, it shows something like a minimap with passable colors and it really slows down the game even on my computer. this isnt fixed yet though normally you dont need to use that there was a 'special bug activator' key in old M1 versions if you pressed and held the 't' then some of the screen didnt moved as you walked around and it seemed that it didnt refresh. luckily this bug is fixed now (though you didnt have to use that too =) (screens attached: 1st normal, 2nd with 't' pressed)

This bug reminds me of 'Worms World Party' when after a deathmatch the colors were also like that. It occurs on about every 2D game, but very rarely and just restarting it mostly solves the problem.

NVM about that, it was a joke. That bug hasn't got anything to do with debug mode. There are some cheat commands used to debug the game though. Press tilde and give in one of these commands: http://www.jbgames.com/games/meteor/docs/console.htm

You are right, PetiX. The armageddon is very dangerous and can kill almost all of the worms on the field. However, I like this weapon.

RE-INSTATING ANTI-WORM BARRIER -------------------------- Any chance we can have more sprite(3d)-drawing debug command-line options in ROD3d James? Maybe sorting options (reverse the draw order), vsync options etc

I beleive this is called "palette flash" which occours sometimes in Windows when switching graphics modes between colour depths (suddenly the number of bytes that define each colour changes). However this normally only happens for a moment or two (hence "flash" ![]() About the keys thing... M = Show map cells (the map is split into cells for faster object collision detection - for example it only checks stuff in the same cell). Also... M + O = Show cell objects. M + S = Show cell sectors. Other Notes... T used to disable the game timer (things stopped). M works in Rod 3D too. Edited: 19 May 2008 17:35 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Oh, so if I get it right, it's an alternative colour definition but a wrong interpretation?
