It may be a crazy suggestion, but it would be ultra nice if Elements would be possible to play with a joystick or a wii! Joystick: For example, if you push the joystick forward, the player will aim North etc... Wii: With this you can aim and move like in any other Wii shooter. Hows that sound??

This is good idea. But first you will have to buy a joystick if you haven't got one.

Well, you won't HAVE to play with the joystick, you know. And at the other side it'll be also a hidden commercial to buy one ![]()

Making a stick work is easy in terms of code. Making the player move NSEW, shooting and weapon selection is easy. Mouse aiming is the real issue? You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Mouse + joystick. The mouse for cross-hairs, the Joystick or movement.

personally, i find the mouse reacts a LOT faster, so i would use just that. For realism of a guy like him being hampered down bu insane amounts of weaponry, i would say using the slower pad is more "realistic". Would be nice if i could get my comp to start using my wiimote tho.

Quote from James Bunting: 'Making a stick work is easy in terms of code.' And what about Wii? Wii compitability is fairly easy in Adobe Flash 9 (the program used to make .swf animations/games) but I really don't know about C. In any case, I HOPE the library used for it isn't insanely huge and complex...

saw this thing for a fingermouse...basically a ring to use like a wiimote but with 4 sensors instead for more accurate readings...found on popular science magazine lol...
