can someone with a working version upload it here?

"Can't you just fix-"
NO! I told you when you bought this, when it goes wrong I can't fix it. It's filled with glue. The Greek goddess of glue Araldities herself would be impressed with this.

Please stop asking me for technical support during your dreams. Can't we just tour some surreal landscapes instead?

"How do I do that?"

Count your fingers. Keep trying. Make sure there's ten.

Then summon me. I am large and covered in wires. Clouds of baking soda pour into your world and a slightly weak yellowy glow appears from the LED strips behind me.

If you can see this message then you're already part of the way there. Keep all your styles disabled and you might see the dream within.

"But there's so much javascript everywhere! I can't see you. Help! I've forgotten to count my fingers! Where do I find them?"

The LED strip behind me pops and goes out. Dark spots appear in the centre of each light. I lift my finger to my lips. The smell of tantalum capacitors fills the air.

Ssh. Don't worry about that. Behind those frameworks there's another person sleeping.

Some day the javascript will sleep too.

Yes this has gotta happen, its all my fault sorry. I am tied up until 18 May on project work and have a large window after that to sort things out as well as get a new game rolling.

Meteor 3 is hereby announced, its not 3D by design (well sort of) but it its really fast and hot (the baddies are clever too)!

M1:1998 -> M2:2004 -> M3:2007

Originally M3 was going to look like GTA1 or GTA2 with the 3d sectors but objects are still sprites. Aside that M3 was going to run on sectors with different height values and the GTA games were tile based.

But now M3 is going to have 3d objects as well as a 3d environment.

I still cant wait for M3. My only worry is how long the game will take to load.

Got the project thing done.

MeteorFE is nearly there and it works well. I have attached a working version, just needs the log file manager and some other minor things adding but it works fine as is.

This requires the .net 2 framework.

You may need to set the Meteor 2 folder to "c:\games\meteor_beta" (not c:\games\meteor2).

On the M3 note people will be able to test the tech for that shortly and see what they think. Either way its hardware based (requires a DX9 video card). The plan is to render in 3D but its still a look down 2D world (you just see the side of things more).

Basically M3 has feel of M1 but plays better than M2, obviously it looks more rewarding. Most importantly of all the formula has to work.

Remember that I yet to add the "Create Mod" facility plus some other bells and whistles. Should be out later today though as I spent much of the last week sorting it out.
