Post all your wants and needs for future releases of M2, (or even M1. Here are a few of mine. -Waypoints in M2 should act like RTS game directions. currently, they take the direct route to waypoints with no turning speed, and ignoring every obstacle that gets in the way. Unlike RTS's, where the objects form a route on their own by finding ways around obstacles, which commonly works flawlessly (most of the time). -Weapon delay time in weapons editor, so that you can set a short time limit, (normall under a few seconds) that you have to hold the fire button until your weapons start firing. This could be used for a minigun in which the barrels have to rotate before firing, and could also be used cleverly to give enemies a sort of "reaction time" before spewing bullets all over you. -Working grenade bounces. -Sliding instead of sticking objects would be nice. -Stronger solid sectors. (some sectors can be walked right through.) -Enemies given seperate weapons than the player, though disguised as looking exactly the same. For example, Pistol troopers would use the generic pistol, except the firing speed would be much slower, bullets would be way more innacurate, maybe a smaller clip size, and longer reloading. Currently, the AI is able to master the use of any weapon because a human has their own human error and reaction time, while the only thing making the AI weak is they have like 40HP. Theyre too tough to take on in large numbers, and they generally are not enjoyable to fight. cant come up with anything else atm.

My single wish is to completely stabilize M2...maybe include some little bug-reporting program. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

maybe like jdooms 'doomsday.out' files. Whenever Jdoom closes unexpectedly, it explains in a simple notepad document all the text that was generated in the console since the program started. It's always the last line of text that explains the issue. This would be a handy feature, as both jdoom and M2 are pretty unstable programs.
