I would prefer that that person does not use <i>all</i> the weapons included in that mod, but a simple 2 or 3 isn't too much. Be sure to include my name in the credits also.

I'm not too sure you can, but make a text file named readme.txt and make sure to include a credits section in it. But if there is a way to edit the credits, I would like to know.

Its worth noting that there is a loose plan to allow multiple mods to be loaded at the same time. I am not quite sure when this will happen but it is aimed specifically at "non-map" mods like Real Weapons. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

If you did something like that you should make it so the player can choose what to use from each mod. I know that could be complicated, but it's worth a try. EDIT-Oh and Papercut, I don't know if anyone told you or not but you can't beat the foxtrot map with your mod. The smart disk has disappeared from the items list. It will work by the user adding the mods in order (to some listbox or something). It will when use a precedence system depending on the order the mods where added. Therefore if you add. - Your Mod (primary mod) - Real Weapons (child mod) Then you get all of "Your Mod" plus whatever else from "Real Weapons" and the remainder from the original base folder. So the top mod in the list is always the primary mod and so on. I hope this makes sense. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

That's actualy a very good idea. While we're at it, have you considered adding and option when you start up a new game that you can choose a single player maplist? Sort of like multiple campaigns. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Hey if you don't suggest sometihng fast enough then someone else my suggest it first. James should also make a built in music, sound, and image editors. Also get rid of that reload game data, it would be easyer just to make it reload what you edited every time you edit something. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

ya! He should also add a make your own new game editor that lets you code totally new games! And a web site maker that lets you make cool forums for ppl to discuss meteor 2 on, and a disk cleanup tool as well! Lol Ok... its late, but I think dual mod loading would make mp games cooler. I have gimp. I've never had any luck with music write(I found that I aready have that mod thingy so I'll try that). I also have only Sound Recorder(came stardered with win2002) for messing around with meteor2 sfx. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
