02 November 2003 01:13 (UK time) In the sprite editor i cant import the PCX images. I think its because i am makeing my images wrong. WHAT I DID: i used paint (.bmp) to make my image then renamed the file a PCX. the PCX reads my image and displayes it, but it comes up with an error in Meteor when i hit import on the immage and it wont show my image. plz help! 02 November 2003 03:05 (UK time) Are you creating the files as bitmaps (.bmp) and then in Windows Explorer renaming them? That won't work, as it only changes the name of the file, not the type. You can't save files as .pcx in Paint. You'll have download a .bmp to .pcx convertor from the internet. Just do a web search for one. You need to login to create posts in this thread.

Basically if you are using MS Paint then copy an existing game image first and then edit it. If you want the power to make new images with the right palette then you can use Paint Shop Pro (<a href="http://www.jasc.com" target="_blank">www.jasc.com</a>, they do a demo but it expires.
