Wow, that looks alot like the sniper in my weapon mod for M2, except its white and I drew it myself instead of resizing a real picture.

In an attempt to make a better looking Helicopter Rotor, this one didnt come out as good as I wanted to, but its not too bad.

I tested this once, it looks pretty good on top of Helicopters, though its pretty dense. If it appeared translucent it would look a lot better.

If you try it, set the sub bitmap rotating speed really high.

I cant understand what "crap.bmp" is made up of, but they all are pretty neat. The 3rd one reminds me of Halo in some odd way.

Well the crap thing is just misc. things. There are some things that look like cards and stuff like that in the top left corner. If you want some more then i can get them, no prob.

Assain: YEa i was, but i stoped. I had one going for M1 but i redid it on M2 and lost intrest. I can change the color of the fire if you want to use them as something else.

Id post more material, but the things i've got are being bundled up for something real special =D.

Though I did find something incredibly hard to find (after hours and hours to days and days of searching).

If anyone is interested in creating some sort of HL2 mod, I have the gravity gun soundfx! Maybe this will come in handy if/when M2 supports a basic physics system.

I found em online. I used them in a mod for soldat that im working on, in which the rambo bow is a gravity gun =P

Other than having a nice selection of crosshairs to pick from it is pointless to make more crosshair pics as there are already more crosshairs than ideas for mods.

Well, I'm using IPE, (iPhotoPlus 4) a program for many formats. I'm using it for:

enchancing my unit pics (like the Cobra Turret in MSA)
converting them to .PCX.

I just don't know what is going on with the wrong colouring, I quess it's IPE then.

Here are some more soundfx.

First we have a better sounding 44mag sound. Its not much different but it sounds cooler to me.

Next we have some infantry action sounds, as in telling them to go somewhere.

Next we have a well done radio static sound.

and last, we have some more infantry sounds.

Here's a base drawing of a soldier. You can detail him up yourself.

I made this in case anyone isnt as interested in the original soldiers (like me), and would like to use it in their mod.

I don't think the posture of the soldiers in the game from top down view is correct. This one is a tad more realistic.

I figured someone would take the death sounds, since they aren't easy to find unless you make them yourself.

And actually very little of them are in Crater.

I spent a bit of my time working on the troopers on M2. This is just a replacement of sprites and graphics for the troopers. It fixes their posture so that they are not completely standing upright all the time. They kinda lean forward now. Play this mod with your original M2 and the troopers will look better.

I soon plan to make a better one for Ash, the mechanics, and medics too. I think I'll leave the Scientists and Civilians alone.

ABANDONED PROJECT

I'm never gonna get this done. I'm becoming uninspired, and I am not up for the map making and scripting.

Most of the hard stuff is done.

All weapons, objects, sounds and projectiles are done. Weapon sprites, Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist sprites are done. (Didnt make hostage sprites though) De_Dust map is done but without script file. Other nice things like graphics and included.

I havent touched this thing in a loooong time, and just aren't up to continue working on it. If anyone else would like to take up the responsibility, it's at your disposal.

EDIT: Sounds are too big, had to upload it in increments.
counterstrike1.zip = Everything but sounds.
counterstrike2.zip = First half of sounds.
counterstrike3.zip = rest of sounds.

This is done for the most part. Full of resources and a working test map with a script file. Pretty much playable. Reccomended play with coop, but doesnt have coop maplist.

ANOTHER ANOTHER ABANDONED PROJECT

Meteor Racing was supposed to be for the mini-mod compettion. I couldn't live up tow working on it. Comes with objects, Crappy figure-8 race track, and buggy waypoints and script file. Some race car fan would want to finish this.

Yeah i figured to dump all the stuff I dont feel like working on here. I hope someone revives this stuff because I certainly wont.

Dead serious. I was actually inspired by this image:

I was looking at this picture for the first time at the butterflies except at the time I couldn't really tell what I was looking at. They didnt look like butterflies to me but what I saw was what looked like blurry dead soldier graphics.

(Looking back at it now knowing they were butterflies, I have no idea how I came up with soldiers)

I guess the rock next to the blue butterfly resembled the guys head. So I just drew what I thought i saw, and it turned out to be what that image is now.

I'm not going into better direction in making graphics =/ but instead I think i'm getting good in making cool music (or at least that's my own opinion lol)

I am not very good at painting. But I tried to make some interesting objects. For example I made a robot. The two new songs in my mod 'The Dark Planet' were made by me. I used Fruity Loops 4.

EDIT: I heard your song, Aleksanteri, and I think it is very good.

I like that robot, it looks really good.

This is a cool thread, eh? I realize it's been ditched for a while, but it looks like a good idea. Anyway, here are a bunch of weapon graphics I either made from scratch or re-sized from the internet.

Edit: Actually, only the AK is re-sized, the rest were made from scratch

Naval, For future reference Jbserver asks you to re log in if you take too long to write a post (why that is I dont know), but if it does as you to log in, just go back, copy what your wrote, and start the post over again by pasting it in the box. It bothers me too.

Those are nice graphics by the way canuck, There's been a lot of talk about a WW2 mod but no one has ever done it.

Because I suck at making maps. I might do the base for a WWII mod (weapons, objects, powerups, etc) and post it up somewhere and everyone can make maps for it if they feel like it.

Well, maybe I don't suck at it, but I don't have the patience to make a whole load of maps. It would take a really long time for me to do a whole mod...but if people think a WWII mod would be a good idea, I could get it started with all the weapons and whatnot and a few maps, and we could just get anyone who was interested to make a map or two for it...kind of like has been suggested for ROD 3D. I could plan out a storyline for it (I know a fair bit of WWII history, so that wouldn't be too hard), and everyone could make make maps based around that storyline.

You've saved those images in the wrong format. Due to that they will appear with pink spots in game. So, I'd say make em again :p
