Did people like Base Alpha for Meteor 2? It was possible the hardest map to make as it is an exact replica of the original map from M1 (every vertex is in exactly the right place).

I used this screenshot to work with, having it loaded on second PC with a 16x16 grid.

Did you know that you can make screenshots like this in Meteor 2 with the console using "BigScreenShot". Be careful though as the files can be enormous (zipping them up is essential lol).

Base Alpha appeared to be the hardest map to make out of sectors, though i enjoyed it much. It brought back a memories lol. I really liked at the end when cooper puts you in the trap, then he gets surrounded by black ops.

Ahh i liked that one. It was my first encounter with the big mech and it's sounds O.O

The semi-destroyed base looks was pretty cool too :D

Base Alpha amazed me. I thought I was in M1 for a few minutes! Outstanding job James.

Nice job... How long did it take? Did it take longer than 50_02?
(Thats the huge epic mega mission where you kill zorrino, and YES he should be killed)

Map 5 - Mission 2

I don't know exactly what map that is because I am not using the map editor until I beat the full campaign. I don't want any spoiling lol.

Was it hard...? Didn't notice... Thought the one where your bike was a critical object was much worse!

Good map though, plenty of script surprises!

I liked the trap.

[Dan Cooper] Good work finding me, now you'll get destroyed!
[!] mech comes
[!] ally attack comes
[Dan Cooper] Nooooooooooooo

<b>EDIT:Eh, about the trap, you forgot to set Cooper the Indestructible Flag On. As I got caught in the trap, I shot Cooper dead with a rocket launcher!!

^^ This actually happens alot througout the campange (and several other loopholes/minor problems). Such as, Zorrino isnt indestructable (i killed him :) )

Yes you are right there are some glitches.

I can't speak for Zorrino (mantis made that map) but did you know that you can actually run Cooper over on the Westcorn Village map? Thanks to Matthew Leverton from www.allegro.cc for bringing this to my attention.

<b>Edit</b>
Oh and the point is that Cooper is indestructible but can still be run over. This seems to be a general problem.

lol i didnt know you could run him over, though i remember pounding him with over 60 pulse cannon shots while he stood there.

Then the chinook showed up, I ran back to the allies looking ashamed, "He got away... :/"

Any ally who would have witnessed it wouldn't believe they're eyes lol.

I also never noticed how many big mechs were in that map.
I counted a grand total of 24 individual Big Mechs in that map.

And that map would of been much easier if you had the "Follow me/Stay here" script commands that you can use in M2 lol. Those SAS troops could come in handy.
