Are explosives going to be in the final version, for the TNT boxes and stuff? You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Yes the TNT boxes will work, you can script explosions too. Papercut has a slighty newer version than the current beta. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Thats a good question, it was only matter of time before this came up. Basically the code is almost done, a lot of work has gone into some of the finer aspects and a new sound engine. Its amazing how much sound adds to the game when you have hear the humming of distant helicopters and the thuds of mech feet. There is a lot of map editing going on, the missions are coming together quite well, there are some very good maps which I am quite happy with. Its hard to lay down any dates but its close. Additional Notes: 1) The sound code makes the game surpisingly scary. 2) There are some new screen shots <a target="_blank" href="http://www.jbgames.com/games/meteor2/">here</a>. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Is there any command (or will there be) to order an object to attack (if armed) another object? Maybe: SC_ObjectAttack(object, target object); SC_SetObjectTarget(object, target object); You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Wow, quadrouple thread post. Another bug in the forum? James, will we have to change anything major for the newer version of meteor 2 if we have mods arleady partially done? Or will it be a smooth transiation? Oh, I found the bug, when you click "save" the thread you just posted doesn't show unitl you exit this screen and come back. No changes for the bridges sorry. You have to pick over or under unless you hide and show a sector with a trigger at each end of the bridge. James. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

My god everyone, I pressed save once like always, I think its a forum bug. You can remove 3 posts from my count, I really didn't mean to do that. As you can see, they're all posted at the same time, so...I don't know why that happened. Edited: 12 May 2005 00:04 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Here's something, how about timed explosive charges that you can place? Like C4 (it kind of sucks when the charge moves foward and explodes). You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
