To be a recognised member you have to do something like give a mod. And theres really nothing special about it. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Yeah. You get it if you significantly gave support to Meteor, or helped in the creation of M2. Falling in that catergory would be a VERY active forum memeber for a long time, someone who created a mod for Meteor, or somone who helped in development. if you put your mouse cursor over the Recognized Member Symbol, it gives you the description.

Hee hee hee Nice Sponser ToolTip. For ashort amount of time I was promoted to Founder, and had the chance to make James a Sub-Member, but shortly afterwards, I was demoted to sub-member, and the back to Moderator. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Papercut, Thats not entirely correct (but it partly is). Its not actually a superior issue. I became a founder to take a back seat in things. The VIPs became recognised members because there are loads them and you two are the moderators to give you that distinction. Plus I did not want too many moderators as it made the forums look like an old boys club. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Think of it this way: If you have the time to post about recognized members on this forum, then you get promoted by default You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
