hey.
My c130 model became corrupted, so I made a new one, in case of vdo appearences. See the pics of the old & new c130s on meteormods.com.

The new one's not bad looking. The old one was too much of a "happy green" and the new one's a bit too dull or maybe I'm just b**chy right now.... Looks good actually. I like the background in the first shot that shows the old C130....

JB said the exact same thing.
I am working on a comprimise.
the Background for the First Shot is a map not yet released, and the snow textures were made by myself. They wil be in the next release

Heh yeah a compromise would be much better. Maybe camouflage texturing....

B.T.W. you know you've done a good job on the snow texture when it's the first thing people notice. Heh it reminded me of Total Annihilation, which is always a plus, and it looks highly-detailed and overall very nice. Great work. Can't wait to play in a map that uses that terrain texture.

hEY
I got the C-130 done. Not only is it big enough to almost look like a real c-130(the "happy" green one is way too small), but it is skinned very nicely.
The Snow texture really does look awesome. It was originally 512X512 pixels, and that is what you see in the picture. In the map editor however, it takes up most of the texture picking screen. Because of that, it was resized to 256X256 by JB. I am not sure if it looks as nice in that size, but im sure its still fine.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Damn it! LOL! Ugh I'd've loved to have the 512x512 version....

BTW is there a new shot of the new C130 we can check out?

I can hardly notice any changes with the 256 resize.

Don't worry I am sure that the M2 high def pack will be released some time later on this year (if someone makes one that is).

Hey-
I got a new pic up, and I still have the large snow files, along with the large tiles that I made, so count me in on the creation of the HighRes textures pack.

I'd Be happy to make a low def pack, since I really need it lol. My computer doesnt have enough memory to handle so many big textures and a load of ones I would never even use.
