Has anybody made any custom maps for M2 yet (I am not talking about mods). If so it would be great to see them.

You will be safe with Beta 1.3 when it arrives. Amazingly 1.3 will be pretty near the end of the coding phase. Multiplayer will follow shortly after in Beta 1.4.

Early estimations of a large gap (from Beta to finished game) may have been exaggerated. M2 ought to be done sooner than many people think.

The current beta has some nasty bugs with sector, vertex and object id allocation in the Map Editor (this will all be explained in the 1.3 changelog).

Ive been making some custom maps (oh and BTW, i like it how i am always considered the defalt author of unknown maps hehe =D), but i have to aggree with lava.

Meteor 3 may not exist at all and if it does it won't have those graphic's UNTIL there is a lot and lot and lot of programmer's,designer's and etc...... Doom III didn't done by 18 people you know and require's Extremely Several Graphic's.

Sry for double-post but i got to seperate that post from this anyway Jame's Bunting you mean you finish it to complete in this year then next year release new Patche's to make your more powerfull plan's in it im getting it i hope.

This Year.2005 i have bigger plan's ;)

right next yr Patche's will come and this year will be completed cool :D

Custom maps in all, how do you make a mod for M2?
Will there be a in-game program that will allow you to run a mod or will you make a mod running program like the one you made for M1?

The mod manager will be called "Meteor 2 Manager" and will accompany v1.32 (with full modding support).

I am still keen to see any maps that people have made, don't forget to mail them over. They could go into the finished game!

you probably already heard from me about this, but i am having a hard time binding a sheep to a waypoint. Could you describe in graphic detail how to make a unit follow a waypoint path?
