The reloading thing is really cool ;D
Is, or could there be a key that would reload your weapon, before all your clip is gone?

I think that Rocket launcher should fire 2 shots, and require a while to reload.

Also, please take into account that shotguns take a while to reload.

Hmm... Still no response from James. Obviously the title of this thread doesnt stand out enough.

Yep, Most rocket luanchers hold from 1 to 4 rockets in it. And shotguns take forever to reload just like half life,
(1 shell, 2 shells, 3 shells, 4 shells...)
I wonder if you can stop reloading with the shotgun and use the amount of ammo you already have inside, for example, you reload your shotgun and only have time to throw in 3 shells before you start getting shot. And you use the 3 shells and then start reloading again.

Id reccomend assault rifles or uzi like weapons should have about 32 shots in each clip. Clips for the pistol should have 9-12, and the railgun should reload every shot, thus making people not go wild on multiplayer.

My recomendation:

Pistols: 7-15 for autoloaders, 6 for revolvers (pretty obvious)

Shotguns: 5-8 for pump/semi auto, 10-12 for autos, no dubble/single barreled

Submachineguns: 30 for MP 5s, 32 for UZIs, 50 for SPECTREs (4 column magazines)

Assault rifles: 20 for 7.62mm rifles, 30-40 for 5.56mm ones and AKMs/AK74s

Machineguns: 100-200 for light machine guns (LMG), no reload for beltfed general purpose machine guns (GPMG or "Medium";), unlimited for heave, stationary ones.

Sniper rifles: 5-10 for all

Grenade launchers: 1 for most of them and 12 for Hawk MM-1

Rocket launchers: 1 for all of them, fast reload for LAW M72 cause you just drop the whole tube and fire another one

Well, this list does only work for the realistic part of the game. When you pick up your first "Turbo Mega Blaster Extra Everything", my suggests go right down the f*****g toilet!! Muahahahahahahaha...

Honestly, I only know like 3 or 4 "Real" weapons. I just like to make up new ones to make a game interesting. I do that because most of the games I like have sweet weapons that never existed. i.e. James' TSX Fusion cannon, Ion Spreader, Double Barrel Laser Cannon

Argh i just realized something, being that most games reload button is R And i mostly like to use the directional keys rather than the "WASD" keys. Im gonna have to hate looking for the R key when I need to Reload. How about having the Options Menu have a Customizable Controls Menu? I often like to make the reload button the Right Ctrl button.

I'd laugh to see that name fit on the screen! Maybe it should just be THE ULTIMATE OUT-OF-CONTROL DOOMSDAY WEAPON (Thats the super small nickname hehe) That you can only find on the Last level that youll need to defeat the super duper boss at the end of the game lol. Hehe maybe it should just be somme kind of a multi-atom bomb grenade launcher or something, Shooting as fast (or almost as fast) as the minigun, with only like 10 atoms that you can hold Lol.

Why having mags/clips at all on those worse-than-you-can-say-weapons? I mean: Check the Title!

What with autoreload if the clip is empty?

I took such a script for granted. But it would be better if optional. And with customizable key.

How about vehicle ammo? Possible to make it limited? Reload (Tanks: one shot main gun, 200 round belt for a hatch-mounted MG)?

Yes, maybe it should be limited ammo on vehicles.

Maybe a problem: Enemy vehicles/soldiers with two or more weapons usually fires all of them at the same time.

Maybe solved: The empty vehicle may turn into a "player object", not a NPC type.

Where's JB?

The Weapon Clip System is really cool, but I think there should be a few changes:
SLOOOOOOOOWER reload times(so you can sneek up on a guy while he's reloading and knife him)
Also show the total weapon ammo.

Make a knife so you can sneek up on a guy who's reloading and knife him. :-)

The clip system is awsome! But if you waste all rounds (both those in the mag and those in the inventory) and pick up a new set of rounds, you can fire one of them before your first new reload!
