I'm thinking that HD DVD will win.
I also prefer HD DVD since it has a nice new codec from microsoft, where as blu-ray has dvd style mpeg2 compression from
the 1990s.
I think HDDVD sounds way cooler than blu-ray. Blue Ray isn't even spelled correctly.

What do y'all think?

I think blu ray because HD-DVD doesn't seem to be going anywhere (yet). We'll just have to wait and see.

Nah. 320GB hard drive. Less clutter.

And all DVD movies should come in ultra-slim cases.

Since higher compression HD-BLU-RAY-DVD-WHATEVER will become mainstream, movies should be on 3-inch disks.

But the technology for MUCH higher compression already exhists.
