So I was thinking on my vacation about the final version of M2:M1 (yep, that's version 1,0) would like to talk about the upcoming mod release before releasing it.

As you might remember I released lately the v B1,21 version and this version should have full campaign and some bugs fixed and maybe some new features.

So: if you have any bug reports about the current version or suggestions to the final release, please talk now.

I want this mod finished all at the first release now so I will query this all now and then release it and then move on to MSA.

If you want to help me on mapmaking or chat about the mod please mail me at drillguard at yahoo dot com or catch me up on Yahoo Messenger With Voice to talk. If you want to talk with me on messenger the best time to expect me is 16 to 18 UK.

This mod looks beautiful! Too bad I don't have the patience to do all that :(

Ok, after MSA-rebuild now I am back on this mod. Finalizing Operation SS map 2B (although 2A isn't done), I caught this error:

Compile Error: Script( 1) Error[some path] :p-a-r-s-e error at # directive
Line ^#title "Op. Sandstorm Conversion", Error No: 1

never bumped into this, can someone help?

This looks to be finished pretty soon though.

EDIT: OK... gahh now I keep getting this same error for every new script file I write. Weird.

Shouldn't the title of the map be in quotes? I haven't been on meteor lately due to command and conquer (RA2 and Renegade are fun), but i think that is what the problem is.

this forum does not support quotes... they need to be written in entities (i think that's the only way to write quotes now). I quess JB should set the special characters to be replaced into entities and not into blanks.

Also i keep getting this first-line-error on NSIS scripts too (what are absolutely another thing, installers actually)... weird.

EDIT: A member at NSIS forums showed me up I had an invalid character in a NSIS script, the text editor was adding it. The same happened with M2 because I used the same editor. Changing the text editor (NP++ to Crimson Editor) made it and every single script is working again :D

Obviously it was an UTF-8 character, because M2 p-a-r-s-e-r didn't show it up (or just added an ^ sign). But MakeNSISW did show it up and there was the solution.
