So, is anyone into airsoft around here? I'm kinda a fanatic, and I was wondering if anyone else wants to talk airsoft.

Right now I own:

spring:
- H&K USP P8 (Two tone) Pistol
- UHC Beretta (also two tone) Pistol
- UHC XM8 Rifle (piece of CRAP)
- UHC Super 9 Pro V2 Rifle w/ scope/bipod (my favorite)

electric:
- P90 Automatic SMG

Oh yeah baby. Me and my friends play against each other in the woods with our shirts off during the summer. (Yes, our skin breaks and we do get bruised! =D) Were going to play in the winter with snow forts and everything too. We were thinking of taking our shirts off then too, but how the weather is going up here, we would have to look forward to hypothermia and frostbite... So we will be playing with only thermal undershirts and beanies instead. (90% of your body heat escapes through your head.)

I have a USP as well. Its the only weapon I have though. My friends are searching for cheap extra magazines. (Magazines cost as much as the gun!)

My friends dont play like "3 hits and yer out", we play how many shots you are willing to take, just for the realism. I also have too giant red and blue flags, so we play capture the flag, sometimes we set up a campaign type style like one person is a hostage, two are terrorists, other two are heroes.

Man, i'd love to play in the woods! I don't get up to the nearest forest enough...

Playing with your shirts off? Good thing ur playing USPs and not S9s lol my USP is probably my most trustworthy gun, as i've had it for 5 years and it still works great.

If you need spare clips, try shortyusa at
http://www.shortyusa.com/
and go to magazines>USP spring (not heavyweight).

I've seen that site before. (It was a link on this forum.) But of course the mags still cost $10 which is the amount i payed for my gun. I must have gotten the gun free and the magazine that was the expensive part of it.

(This thread is a sign that the discussion of meteor has fallen, and no more topics will be made relating to meteor until something new happens!)

Well, thats the funny thing, is that people who have used it say it is very reliable, just not durable. We'll see.

Hehe decorating "M2" does take this long. It will be like christmas 2x for us all!

I hear that Spring ones are supposed to be more reliable than electric and gas, its cheaper, doesn't require too much maitenance (except pulling the slide back every shot :p) don't jam as much, and they are supposed to last longer.

The reliability looks like this:

Spring: 92%
Gas: 88%
Electric: 69%
