Here's a great idea! Make M2 pay-to-play! Only 14.95 per month! Come on! You can live with that, can't you? You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

That would mean a slaughter wouold happen in my town if that happened > Also, it would loose its spot on Gamehippo, Truefreeware, ect, as the game would become Shareware. Although, James COULD place a "DONATE!" button button in-game in the main menu Dont place any benefits for it though in game, thats what Soldat did and its considered Shareware because of it You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

And I haven't got any credit card, so if M3 would be shareware, I could lose this game! Although, that "Donate" button could nicely seeable in the main menu, like that would minimize M2, and open the Donate site. Edited: 24 September 2005 15:50 You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Less mailing more PayPaling! Alright I'm withdrawing from this discussion, it gets too financial. (Let the people with the money do the talking.) You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

14.95? Thats insane! Soldat is just like M2, but you pay 10.00 and get it forever. What if M2 was like that, you pay like 5 pounds on paypal to get the game and then you have it forever...except if you sign up to the forums, then you get like a pound discount. gahh, i dont want any of this pay-to-play stuff. Otherwise I would have to wait until i have a credit card! I would be stuck with the "less" exciting games that I have. Not to mention that 14.95 a month would kill in my profits, I might have me stop playing M2 for a long time. Just be a good lad and hand James a bit of money.

Making all these $$ donating improvements may seem to help, but it will make meteor 2 nagware not free ware. Also, when I am a millionare I will only reward true freeware programs =D You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Gah, I've created a capital monster! Really, I didn't mean any of this, if you want money, write a personal letter to me (HANDWRITTEN!) and say why I would pay for your services. If it's really good, I'll airmail you a salmon, that should cover the expenses. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Well if the salmon gets smoked on the plane then thats no a bad deal. Some of these modern fonts are quite convincing. for(i=0; i<1000; ++i) { SC_WriteHandWrittenSalmonRequest( "From %s", FromNamesList[i]); SC_ListOnEbay("Fresh Smoked Salmon just £10 free P&P" } You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

That would never work! Too many people would suspect that a fraud, as its being handled by 2 people overseas from the US! Unless you shop at UK eBay! Ive seen someone sell a gum wrapper for $20 before so he could prove that its possible to sell that. He won the bet, and also $100 from his friend > You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
