you can script the minimap to be shown or hidden, but you can't script it to never be able to be shown. It would be helpful for some missions if you could disable the minimap completely. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

That would be nice that you could only see the minimap in ex. radar stations. There should be some script code like SC_SetMinimapLocked(int Value); Value: 0 is not locked (the player can use the minimap) and 1 is locked (TAB doesn't work). You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

Also, in the map editor, i suggest that if the minimap is Solid, then wherever you click on the minimap is where your view goes, as on large maps, it takes a LONG time to scroll around the map. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

And, did you know that you can't set minimap's on/off/transparent mode when creating a sector??? You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

i wouldnt recomend click on the map, i would often click it my accident, maybe if you held on to a letter and clicked on the map, that would be easier.

Yes we have noticed that, and it really does not need to change. I have played a game where the map editor scrolles extra fast when you press the shift key. This would be helpful, and it would only be changing a scroll speed. You need to login to create posts in this thread. |

NO shift, maybe the control key, the shift key is used for texture offsetting You need to login to create posts in this thread. |
